KABWE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL FIRE BRIGADE PREVENTS A HOUSE TURNING INTO ASHES.
Kabwe Municipal Council fire fighters this morning prevented a house and various households goods turning into ashes as, they swiftly put off fire in Railways Compound.
According to a report from the Fire fighter section, led by Divisional Officer Sichinga Suwilanji disclosed that the inferior started at 12:02 PM, at a house number 15 on Munga Road in the Railways compound.
The brave and swift professional fire fighters found the six-room house engulfed in flames upon arrival, and swiftly, managed to extinguish the fire before it speeded further to other rooms.
However, undisclosed amount of household’s goods which include, a television set, Kitchen Utensils, curtains, beddings have been burnt during the Infernal.
The team of courageous and experienced seasonal fire fighters prevented two bedrooms, the kitchen, sitting room, and untampered solid structure of the house from gutting and the cause of fire has not been established while investigations are currently under way.
Therefore, in light of this incident, Kabwe Municipal Council wishes to urge the general public to take necessary precautions to prevent fire incidents in order to protect properties against gutting, by always switching off all electrical appliances during load shedding and avoid leaving braziers, candles, and mosquito coils unattended.
The stayed mitigation can promote safety of families and homes.
